Ms. Stephens has over 15year experience in the areas of business law, labor and employment law, employment discrimination, wage and hour, educational law, child advocacy, personal injury, and civil rights.
 

Ms. Stephens is a member of the State Bars of Georgia and Texas and the National Employment Lawyers Association.  She is also a previous board member of Positive Growth Group Home for Boys, and Vice President of Advisory Planning on the Executive Board of the Junior League of DeKalb County, Georgia.  She is an active member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
 

1996 – Supported the Honorable Glenda Hatchett to provide justice to the juvenile citizens of Fulton County for two years in the Fulton County Juvenile Court system.
 

1998 – Director of Student Organizing at Equal Justice Works for two years.
 

2000 – A Child Advocacy Attorney for DeKalb County Juvenile Court for four years protecting the rights of the community’s defenseless children.
 

2007 – A partner with Morgan & Morgan Attorneys and founder of the wage and hour and employment law section.  Served in that capacity for over four years.
 

2012 – Currently the managing attorney for the Law Offices of Deirdre M. Stephens, LLC, offering creative and affordable legal solutions to small businesses, individuals, and family.
